Happening tomorrow: Celebration event and free pizza!Tomorrow we’ll be celebrating the end of this stage of the project, showing you the revised concept design, and providing free wood-fired pizza!&nbsp;Tuesday 26th March, drop by any time between 3:30pm and 7pm.&nbsp;St Philomena’s Church, 28 Niddry Road, Winchburgh, EH52 6RY.Please note that the event is happening in the hall at the back of the church.We will show the revised concept design and thank everyone who’s been part of the collaborative design process over the year.Come along with an appetite as we’ll be providing free wood-fired pizzas&nbsp;to celebrate. Bus stop artworkAs part of the project, internationally acclaimed multi-disciplinary artist Nicola Atkinson has designed exciting artworks which we are thrilled to say have now been installed at the three sheltered bus stops on Main Street!One of the artworks is inspired by the botanical drawings, The Scots Gard’ner, and the present day Gala celebrations. The other two bus stops have a selection of ‘historic portals’. &nbsp;These ‘historic portals’ will be a kind of library of prompts for the detailed design stage of the Winchburgh Street Design project – guiding the designers and commissioned artists.As mentioned in our previously blog, we held an event last Saturday to celebrate the artwork.
